Event Overview
Successful enterprise transformation involves a balanced and holistic integration of people, processes, and technologies that translates strategic vision into operational reality and accounts for stakeholder breadth and institutional complexity. This degree of integration doesn’t merely happen; it is often nurtured and driven by effective, responsive, and nimble project governance.

In this workshop, we will explore the elements of governance and decision-making that contribute to a successful Workday implementation, paying attention to practices that have a greater impact on project success. We will define and apply a framework approach toward project governance design where participants will draft models for their institutions, share potential challenges and pitfalls, and hone ideas and concepts that can be socialized and integrated within their organizations. For any transformation effort, preparation is crucial, so the goal of this workshop is to help participants ready themselves for the leadership that will be needed to attain implementation success.

Session Outcomes:

- Awareness of governance and decision-making best practices that are rooted within the context of Workday implementations.
 - Definition of a project governance and decision-making framework that can be aligned with and applied to the participant’s own planning and readiness efforts.
 - Identification of potential challenges and opportunities to balance stakeholder involvement in prioritization and decision-making to reduce risks common risks such as analysis paralysis, over escalation, gaps in authority/responsibility, etc
