Learning Science and Design: Strengthening Collaboration between Libraries and Faculty in the University Learning Ecosystem - Online Workshop

May 25th - Day One:

 - (Prior to the workshop) Participants send facilitators examples of instruction requests they are typically faced with.
 - Facilitators and participants situate the instruction requests within a larger university learning ecosystem and explore how challenges to learning arise. 
 - Facilitators and Participants discuss possible explanations using key concepts from Learning Science and Design.
 - Participants and Facilitators discuss how to design library services in coordination with other services provided on campus. 

 

May 26th - Day Two:

 - Using Learning Science and Design, Participants and Facilitators derive solutions to learning challenges and problems from Day One
 - Facilitators briefly discuss the potential for expanding and deepening collaborative work with students and faculty and instructional designers.
