David Charpentier

After working independently in film and media design for a decade, David joined the Boston University Digital Learning and Innovation team in 2016. Over the years, he has overseen the development of media for online degree programs, MOOCs, and flipped/hybrid/active learning experiences. David works with faculty and staff to craft stories using clean design, mixed media, and, most recently, data analysis and storytelling as part of the University’s Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Shuang Geng

Shuang serves as a Data Analyst in Academic Technology and Innovation at the Institute for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Leveraging data science and educational technologies, she provides consultation to faculty members on learning analytics and assessment. She holds an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
