Event Overview
This workshop series introduces participants to the potential for using podcasts as a medium to advance administrative and campus initiatives as well as academic scholarship. Our workshop series begins with engaging participants to identify ideas that they are interested in developing as podcasts. We continue by presenting approaches to engage in the research necessary to produce a compelling podcast. We conclude with inviting participants to use the resources we discussed to record a clip that could evolve into a podcast episode. Through a series of discussions and interactive exercises, participants take away practical tips for developing and producing their own podcasts.

Session Outcomes:
Participants will be able to:
 - Describe how podcasts can be used for storytelling for administrative and scholarly purposes
 - Develop ideas for podcasts
 - Identify techniques for research to support script development
 - Apply research to develop a script
 - Recognize resources available to produce podcasts

Audience: This workshop is useful for any professionals in higher education seeking innovative ways to engage the campus community.
