From Idea to Airwaves: A Podcasting Workshop Series for Scholarship and Campus Communication

Wes Bernstein
Multimedia Specialist for Digital Pedagogy & Scholarship at Bucknell University
Wes works as a multimedia specialist and adjunct instructor for Bucknell University, supporting research and teaching for advanced video, audio, and graphic media productions. Wes' work includes a number of video productions for live events, short narrative films, limited series documentaries, and numerous audio podcasts. In addition, Wes has presented at National conferences for EDUCAUSE, the National Dance Educators Association, and the University Film and Video Association. Previously, Wes' work served as a digital media specialist for Messiah University and as an adjunct instructor in the department of Communications. While at Messiah, they worked with students, faculty, and administrators developing media projects and providing instruction for the campus and community. Wes earned his B.S. from Temple University with dual concentrations in Film & Media Arts and Creative Writing. They earned an M.S. in Communications from Shippensburg University with a specialization in Digital Media.
Wes also works as a freelance media producer specializing in video production for non-profits, including the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, American Lung Association, Tri-County Community Action Network of Central PA, PA, and the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.

Vanessa Hill
Vanessa Hill is the Wilcox Family Chair in Business Ethics and Professor of Management & Organizations at the Freeman College of Management, Bucknell University.
Vanessa attended Swarthmore College, earning a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology, Anthropology, and Psychology. She continued her education at Carnegie Mellon University, earning a Master of Industrial Administration and Ph.D. from the Tepper School of Business.
Before joining the faculty at Freeman College, Vanessa served on faculties at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Vanessa studies corporate social responsibility, ethics, leadership, and the ethical implementation of technology in the workplace. Her work has been published in multiple academic and trade publications.
