Session 1: Framing — AI as an Accessibility Partner: What Problem Are We Trying to Solve?
This opening session establishes a shared framework for considering generative AI as a potential accessibility and cognitive-support tool. Participants will explore the relationships among AI, accessibility, neurodiversity, executive function, and cognitive load, while also considering ways AI can introduce new barriers.
Friday, November 20, 2026 | 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Session 2: Design — Designing the Conditions for Human-Centered AI
The second session moves from asking “What can AI do?” to “Under what conditions should we use it?” Participants will explore human agency, transparency, AI literacy, accessibility, and inclusive design as principles for evaluating AI-supported practices.
Friday, December 4, 2026 | 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Session 3: Application — From Principles to Practice: Building Your AI Accessibility Roadmap
The final session moves from principles to application. Participants will use an AI-related opportunity, challenge, workflow, assignment, support process, or policy question from their own institution as the basis for collaborative problem-solving and action planning.
