Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Who, What, When, Where and How

The Days-Massolo Center promotes community inclusion, facilitates intercultural dialogue, builds collaborations and establishes partnerships that help make Hamilton a welcoming environment for faculty, staff and students.
7:30am - 9:00am Coffee & Registration
9:00am Welcome, Introductions, and Purpose
- Not to give you a magic bullet; interactive, for a better understanding
- Help you find honest ways to support others; definitions that you can live with
- Have some honest exchanges/discussion
- Put your most burning fears on the table
- Give you some tools for community building, collaboration, program development, marketing
- Learn the difference between “empathy” and “sympathy”
- Define your role; what can you bear the responsibility of?
Note: We will have a 15-minute break in the morning, an hour for lunch (~12:00pm - 1:00pm) and end at 3:00pm
