Event Overview
Are you effectively leveraging your technology investment to provide big wins for your small college? Are you a technology leader at a small institution whose day is filled with the joys and challenges of supporting your institution’s mission through the evolving use of technology, with limited resources? Are you wondering about infrastructure, CRM for enrollment, ERP in the face of shifting business models, LMS and its viability? Do you have a hard time translating what larger, more resourced institutions accomplish to your institution? If you answer yes to any of these, then this workshop is for you. We will explore these topics in the context of the challenges we face as small college technology leaders.

Specific Case Studies will include the following (and more!):
-Identifying areas in the enrollment process to infuse technology to better engage students
-Learning from other colleagues’ experiences of ways to automate processes and apply best practices in enrollment management
-Providing specific examples of metrics that articulate the IT investment value, and why it matters.

Bring your challenges and questions. You will leave with many suggested strategies and tactics that can help you achieve your goals.

Session Outcomes:
-Understand how to create and enact a plan for an on-campus technology gap assessment – to determine priorities and possibilities in alignment with institutional mission
-Use the evaluation findings to develop a technology implementation plan that scaffolds and leverages technology investments to show results
-Articulate the technology value proposition, in the context of institutional culture
