Unconscious Bias: A practical guide to reducing its’ impact in the workplace

This session will introduce unconscious (or “implicit”) bias with the goal of reducing its impact, especially in workplace environments. Attendees will be engaged in presentation and discussion around how unconscious bias impacts individuals and groups in workplaces, how unconscious bias is created and perpetuated, and what one can do to combat one’s own biases. Practical tools will also be introduced.

Encouraging Diversity of Voice through Liberating Structures

This session would be a very hands-on learning workshop, where participants could learn and practice these structures, giving feedback on how they could provide value in day to day meetings and other forums.
