Leadership practice is a developmental growth process, grounded in knowledge from multiple disciplines and coupled with reflective practice. Equity-minded leadership develops in the intersections of personal identity, perceived attitudes, theory, and concerted action for social justice. Leadership engages us to build culture and inclusive practices within the complex, shifting landscape of our organizations and teams. Participants will examine the evidence-based principles of equity-conscious leadership practice, examine models for use, and engage a real-life problem of practice they’ve encountered to apply the principles and models.
